The funding supports the design and construction of a new water treatment building in Jaffrey. It connects to the existing Turnpike well pump station.

The plant includes a backwash holding tank, greensand filters, granulated activated carbon (GAC) filters, new well pumps, chemical storage, backwash waste pumps, electrical work and all process plumbing.

Several funding sources, one project

NHDES committed $11,562,868 to this project from three funding sources: $4,562,445 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), $4,011,563 from the PFAS Remediation Loan Fund and $2,988,860 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
